I'll just come out and say it: I don't want to wear a tuxedo that matches what the bridesmaids wear. I just don't. I think it looks (no offense to those of you have done this in your own wedding), well, corny. So I think I'll just make my groomsmen do it. They can be corny. I am corny enough in my normal life, I don't need to be it on my wedding day as well.
The reason this comes up now is that we're making this important decision this weekend when my parents come into town for the Duke vs NC State game and the Duke vs Miami (Thug U) game.
Thoughts on Tuxes? Dumb and Dumber style? Top hats and Canes?

i'd say, it's totally cool if you go with a classic black and white look for your tux (tie or bow tie?) and than have your g-men wear a hint of green somewhere. you want the pics to look coordinated, ya know.
You've read my mind. We'll let you know what we decide on Saturday. I was also thinking about buying ties for the groomsmen.
Tuxedoes in North Carolina in May!? I lived in Raleigh for 4 years doing weather for the NBC affiliate. It's hot and humid there in May! I'm thinking sleevless tuxedoes with whatever you decide. I'm currently forecasting weather for weddings. Check out your Wedding Weather.
